Honey Grilled Pork Chops

Summer is almost a DISTANT memory, but gone nonetheless. That doesn’t mean that grilling is not an option. I used my indoor grill for this meal and it was DELICIOUS!!!

Honey Grilled Pork Chops

This is a quick dinner idea for one of your busiest weeknights. But for best results, requires an overnight marinade for optimal flavor!!

You’ll need:

Boneless pork chops (or turkey chops) I used 12 for a day of leftovers
Honey
Soy Sauce
Sea Salt
Black Pepper
Minced Garlic

Sides (Uncle Ben’s 5 minute Fast Cook Recipe Rice and your favorite green veggies)

Place in a 9 x 13 and cover your chops completely with seasoning above and refrigerate overnight. The ย next day, throw those babies on the grill for about 5-7 minutes each side and plate them with your sides.

Wondering about wine pairing? A nice crisp Viognier would be ideal!

  1. This seems like a really easy recipe! I don’t have the port chops with me, but I think I will try it with some chicken thighs. I also like the wine pairing. I would love to become a wine expert or at least enjoy it properly, so that tip was great.

  2. I am going to try this out with chicken breast. My husband will grill in the snow, so I know I can get him to fire up the grill outside since I don’t have an indoor one…

I never thought to do this with chicken. I might have to…I’m sure it will be delish! Thanks for stopping by.

  3. what are the measurements for the marinade?

    • Smart & Sassy Mom says:

Unfortunately I don’t have a measurement for that. I use honey like salt and pepper (to taste). If I had to put a measurement on it. I would probably say about a tablespoon per filet. Thanks for stopping by.
